Meet Denise, the founder of Casa de Aroma. Proudly Portuguese and now calling Australia home, she carries a little saudade – a longing for the familiar aromas, warm welcomes, and shared moments of Portugal.
Casa de Aroma grew from that feeling – a wish to bring a little Portuguese warmth to your daily cup.

Where it all began — a nossa família
A little of Portugal. A lot of heart.
Family visits. The streets of Lisbon. Coffee shared without watching the clock. In Portugal, a little cup is often an invitation to stay a little longer. These are the roots of Casa de Aroma.
The feeling of Portugal – familiar sights, memories of home…
Denise’s uncle’s café, Lisbon – a place that helped inspire Casa de Aroma.
Some of Denise’s warmest memories began at her uncle’s café in Lisbon: the hiss of the coffee machine and cups clinking on saucers.
Most of all, she remembers the regulars – the locals who came in every day and were greeted by name, with a smile and an “o costume?” – “the usual?” Over a bica and a pastel de nata, conversations flowed and familiar faces became friends.
That sense of belonging helped inspire Casa de Aroma – and the feeling Denise hopes to share with you.
